Greetings, humans. It’s been a long while on this blog. I’ve been more active on my psychic blog lately and trying new things, so let me give you the rundown on what’s happening. 12M is no longer a novel That’s right. It was too difficult to complete the novel, so I tried a few things,Continue reading “Hiatus Update”

I Keep Getting Ideas
It’s a real pain that I’m getting so many ideas at once, and sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all of them. Things have escalated, and now I’m seeing a problemo with Evermore Quatrain only having five Centuries. I now want to complete the collection, with five to seven more centuries. I dunno, 12Continue reading “I Keep Getting Ideas”
8,500 Words Reached
I had a big ol revelation while sitting around and feeling lost again. Because I feel lost so much, I’ve started a writing journal and am counting how many times I feel lost. With each sentence of 12M I write, I get more excited to properly introduce the characters, but I know that’s premature. IfContinue reading “8,500 Words Reached”
7500 Words Reached
It took me ages to get through a slump, but I made it yesterday. If there’s anything I’ve learnt as a novelist, though, it’s that I shouldn’t raise such high expectations of myself for rough drafts. I had the project goal at 30,000 words, but as I near the end, I’ll cut it down toContinue reading “7500 Words Reached”
Writing Plans 2021
As I mentioned in a previous post, I published Evermore Quatrain, and now I’m moving on to the next book. 12M has been pushed back once again, but at least I have another project to write. This year I’m collaborating with a small group to make a how-to on reading playing cards. If you neverContinue reading “Writing Plans 2021”
5000 Words Reached
It’s taken shorter than expected! My only obstacles were that I went out of town for a week, and then the next week I quit my job. For now I’m a full-time writer, and nothing else matters. Things have finally come together regarding the story, and when that happens I feel an absolute lightheartedness andContinue reading “5000 Words Reached”
Writing Update + Using Scrivener
I’m back writing 12M’s draft, and this time with a fully licenced Scrivener! So far, I quite like the features such as the board function. My productivity used to be 100 words, and this time I’ve doubled it. Today handed me a few pearls of wisdom. Turns out I’ve been too perfect about the process,Continue reading “Writing Update + Using Scrivener”
A Project for Fun
If you read my Script Draft series, you’d know I had a little script project happening. The truth is, I just used the example lines in a little project. (Like, five minutes ago) Along with my novel (on hiatus ;n;) I’m writing some fan fiction based on the game A3!: Act! Addict! Actors! One characterContinue reading “A Project for Fun”
New Year’s Eve
It occurs to me I may not have time to finish the Script Draft series tonight, so I’ll do a quick post. My goal is to post at least once a day for a week. It’s a problem when you’re regaining energy you’ve missed for months. Anyway, later on I’ll write down my goals andContinue reading “New Year’s Eve”
Update: My Writing Plans 2020
My base plan is as follows: I script on the weekends, then adjust my outline accordingly. Weekdays are when I type out the novel drafts. There’s a teensy problem with that. I’ve adjusted the weekend weights to 0, meaning my weekday target stands at 301. Hopefully I can cram in enough script to last theContinue reading “Update: My Writing Plans 2020”
