It’s taken months and a whole rewrite to get to this point. But this time, I’ve actually expanded on the narrative so that the first three chapters make up 10,000 words so far.
The 2,000 word routine is quite useful, but today till tonight before dinner was ready, I found myself struggling in the third chapter. Tomorrow is going to be tough, especially while I want to look at mice to consider another future life choice.
But I feel like I’ve infodumped in this latest session. Better not mull over it too much, or I’ll never get a draft done.
