Yesterday, I considered researching Stephen King’s routine because I wrote 1000 words. I watched someone do this to weigh up the results.
Turns out he writes 2000 words a day, and keeps to a strict time, and only drinks tea or water. Either I’m not seasoned enough, or that’s… a lot of writing. Today I got to 500 words without distraction, and I plan to do the next 500 now that I’ve eaten lunch.
In the meantime, I can’t wait for Scrivener 3 to come out soon. I’m on Windows where only the first edition is released, so when I watched this person on her Mac, I gushed over how sexy Scrivener 2 is. And I think, tomorrow, I’ll post my current routine.
