I Broke A Rule

While writing Twelfth Meridian, I’ve given myself a set of rules. One is avoiding overused jokes and letting the jokes come organically, and another is not basing chapters on music.

Keep Hyong as the second main, and make sure she’s not overshadowed by other characters. What did I do? Overshadow her for one chapter. This is why I felt lost. So, I have to just rewrite the scenes and see where they take me.

It’s still the messy draft, and I stopped moping over deleting scenes. That’s why it’s called messy. And, it’s Scrivener. I’ve underwritten. This is workable.
