After a week-long trip, I’ve finally made it to 2000 on my project. Somebody advised I make the first draft the worst I can make it, and honestly? It’s the best advice I’ve ever heard. It’s brought me a new perspective of imperfection. If you want to try it yourself, you’ll be surprised by the efficiency.
In other news, I’m so happy to be home. The trip to Cairns was amazing, and I went on a sky rail for the first time in my life. Scary, but when you trust in the real safety of the carriage, it’s almost heaven! But it came a time when I missed not sharing a bed with people. And typing on a computer. The sights made up for it.
